Summary/Objective:

The Maxam OEM2 Sales Manager is responsible for directly engaging and implementing sales in the OEM channel with the support and coordination of engineering, product development, supply chain and marketing.

The individual is responsible for the acquisition and account management of all OEM2 customers and their manufacturing/assembly footprint. Targeted accounts are to be based in the North American market (USA, Canada, and Mexico).

Job Description:
  • Utilize existing product line and future product developments to identify and secure new businesses opportunities with OEM2/Maxam Distribution base.
  • Identify and assist to grow the OE Aftermarket division by promoting aligned business strategies with the current Maxam Aftermarket channel.
  • Provide interface with Senior Managers and organization on current and expected OEM2 business plans.
  • Work directly with OEM to pursue additional global positioning of Maxam products.
  • Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategy for aftermarket sales of OEM2 placed Assemblies to produce the highest long-term market share.
  • Evaluate market research, competitor’s product and adjust business strategies to meet changing market conditions.
  • Required collaboration and coordination of engineering and product development to exceed OEM/OEM2 specifications.
  • Coordination of capital expenditure projections based on OEM/OEM2 volumes and/or new product developments.
  • Reviews, analyzes and projects sales performance against programs to determine strategy effectiveness.
  • Ensures effective control of results and takes corrective action to guarantee achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Manages and resolves all issues in cross functional process of delivery to OEM/OEM2 customer.
  • Represent Maxam at Trade Shows, Trade Association Meetings, and OEM/OEAM/OEM2 sponsored events to promote brand equity and product availability.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent number of years of experience.
  • Five to ten years of related experience with progressive management experience.
